Donate for your chance to win a boarding package or dog training package

This September, Jim will be taking part in a 70.3 Half Ironman Triathalon. He’ll be swimming 1.2 miles, biking 56 miles, and running 13.1 miles. Why? Great question! Not only does he love the journey, but Jim is raising funds for DIVINE NEST.

With Jim and Carrie’s experience as foster parents, they have a love for anyone working hard to make a difference in the lives of kids in the system. Divine Nest is working to make a difference for vulnerable children in our community by meeting their needs at that moment! Divine Nest has a program, Sparrow House, designed to support children by providing a safe and loving space for them to go while waiting to find out where they will be placed. So instead of children going to the Children’s Division office to wait, even for just a few hours, they can come to Sparrow House. Sparrow House provides clean clothes, a shower (if needed), toys, soft blankets, and a good meal. Sparrow House will allow children to receive the comfort and care they need while Children’s Division staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a safe and nurturing foster placement. What starts as a traumatizing day will hopefully end with the kids feeling safe and loved. Since April of 2023, Sparrow House has supported 22 kids, helped several sibling groups stay together, and allowed the agency time to find the best possible placement for several teenagers

1 Ten Day boarding package

Donors will receive 1 entry in the boarding package drawing for every $25 donated. A free k9 evaluation is required if we have not previously training your dog. Please CONTACT US to ensure your dog is eligibile prior to donating.

1 Well Mannered Dog Training program

Donors will receive 1 entry in the training program drawing for every $250 donated. A free k9 evaluation is required if we have not previously training your dog. Please CONTACT US to ensure your dog is eligible prior to donating.

A $250 donation gets 1 entry for the training drawing and 10 entries in the boarding package drawing!

Donations will be accepted until October 24, 2023.

OCTOBER 25, 2023
The drawing will take place and the winner will be notified.
