Dog I Can Love is our core Board & Train program designed to create calm, reliable dogs that can navigate real life, not just controlled training environments. Through structured leadership, clear communication, and real-world exposure, your dog learns how to regulate around distraction and respond confidently to guidance.

“If a dog can regulate in public, they can regulate anywhere.”

What this Program Focuses On

Dog I Can Love builds reliability through structure, not repetition. During training, we intentionally develop your dog’s ability to handle three key elements:

  • Distance: Responding even when you’re not close.
  • Distraction: Maintaining focus in real environments.
  • Duration: Sustaining behaviors calmly over time.

This is how obedience becomes reliability.

What Your Dog will Learn

Each dog’s training plan is tailored, but common outcomes include:

  • Calm leash walking.
  • Reliable recall.
  • Place command (structured relaxation).
  • Clear response to guidance.
  • Public manners and neutrality.
  • Reduced reactivity and overstimulation.

Real-World
Integration

Dogs in Dog I Can Love regularly practice skills outside the training facility. This may include structured outings to:

  • Pet-friendly stores.
  • Public environments.
  • New surfaces and settings.
  • Controlled social situations.

Training in the real world is how reliability is built.

Our goal is not perfection. Our goal is a dog you can confidently bring into your life and your world.

Handler Transfer

Training is only successful when the relationship transfers back to you. Every Dog I Can Love program includes:

  • Structured owner lessons.
  • Clear leadership coaching.
  • In-home follow-up within 40 miles.

This ensures the skills your dog learns continue successfully in your daily life.

Investment

Program cost depends on program length which is determined during your diagnostic call based on your dog’s needs and your goals. We only accept 6-8 dogs per training cycle to ensure quality and safety.
